Why Should I buy A Custom Made Knife?

E-mail Print PDF

Are you a collector? Are you just an average guy? Are you perhaps a housewife? Have you thought about investing in a custom knife? Many others, like you have thought: Why would I want a Custom Knife? Consider:

A knife is the most common tool in any house, every household has more than one. Of these however, few are in good working order or repair, i.e. damaged or sufficiently sharp, and even fewer are capable of staying sharp for any length of time, not to mention the short life that some handles seem to have.

As humans we are individuals with different tastes, abilities and comforts. A good custom knife will not only retain its edge better than an average cheapie, but should be tailored to you as an individual. It should be a pleasure to use comfortably regardless of your hand size or physical strength. It should also last. To achieve this takes skill on the part of the knife maker as well as good communication with you the client.

What does this mean for you? You will work safer for longer, as a sharp knife requiring less effort to cut is more controllable and therefore safer to use. Of course if you do happen to cut yourself, rest assured that it will heal faster than if you were cut by a knife with a poor edge. You will also do so comfortably and proudly, as there are also certain bragging rights attached!

Like a well tailored suit that makes you look and feel good, you don't know what you are missing until you have your own.
